Fresh, smart, incisive

I love Slate; Im a Slate Plus member and it and the New York Times are my favorite online news sites. Slate is smart, feisty, often funny and always thoughtful journalism. But unlike the NYT, Slates comments sections are a mess, despite the recent so-called fix. Ive taken away a whole star for that reason. Are you listening, Slate? Comments still need much improvement!
