An information junkies happy place. A lot of good thought provoking content, updated constantly through the day. I use it daily as a counter source of information about current events rather than mainstream media outlets. This app should be in your phone

The app works well.

Ive been a Slate Plus subscriber ("Member") for a few years now, and I never miss their Political, Culture, Amicus, Double X gabfests and Slate Money. They bring education and insight to their respective discussions, and they help me make sense of America. Often, theyre funny. They manage to keep their content fresh and engaging—taking it beyond the ordinary—week after week. Highly recommend!

If you love Slate then this app delivers!

Since updating the app will not refresh. It is showing the same articles that were showing the day I upgraded, and it doesnt matter what I do, it will not refresh.

Good content, can you allow it to bump up the font?

Sorry uninspiring rehash of tabloid trash

I bought this app quite a while ago and was mostly content with it...although I was frustrated that if I exited and then returned to an article, I would have to start from the top again. But recently (since the upgrade to OS4?) it wont open and instead simply crashes after displaying the title page for a while. Ive noticed that the latest update is over 3 months old, well before OS4 was released. When can we expect an update?

Very disappointing.

One of the worst apps Ive ever used. Crashes a lot, wrong articles displayed when headline is clicked, articles do not even appear at times. Extremely frustrating!

Has a lot of problems as other reviews have pointed out, but I give it 5 stars for good articles and good reading...

Despite all the crashes and bugs others rightly point out, I give it a 5-star rating for its content.

I had to reinstall this after dealing with it crashing often. It works OK now. Using the app is better than access through the web, but you cant see article comments on the app. You also cant see author names from the main screen, making it hard to avoid clicking on articles from known troll writers.

Finally all the websites content is available.
